Vorna Valley Residents Association

In the interests and at the request of residents living in the suburbs of Vorna Valley, Halfway Gardens and other adjacent areas here in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa, the Vorna Valley Residents Association website provides a communication tool to the residents of Vorna Valley, Halfway Gardens, Waterfall Park, Carlswald, Kyalami Estates and Kyalami Glen, especially on those issues which affect the area such as crime, safety and security, governance and general issues.

SECTOR POLICING AND THE SECTOR 2 CRIME FORUM

Sector Policing is the continued interaction between SAPS and the Vorna Valley Residents Association which relies on constant two way communication and feedback from the residents.

Midrand has been split into 5 sectors and Vorna Valley is in Sector 2.

The Sector 2 Crime Forum (SCF) was formally established under the guidance of SAPS Midrand. The volunteer members and executives of the Sector 2 Crime Forum are representatives from the Vorna Valley, Halfway Gardens, Waterfall Park, Carlswald, Kyalami Estates and Kyalami Glen areas.

The SCF has direct contact with SAPS through SAPS Cst Benji Nkatingi who is the dedicated Sector Manager for these 6 areas and together with the SCF will profile, plan and implement specific crime fighting measures in all of the Sector 2 areas.

The Sector 2 Crime Forum consists of the following elected representatives:
