An ideal place to overnight on the scenic journey to or from Durban, the KwaZulu Natal Coastline or inland to or from Johannesburg, Bloemfontein & Pretoria. A tranquil weekend or holiday retreat with abundant bird life. Easy travel planning to every area in South Africa using the cottage and ronadawel as your base while visiting our country. Willow Bend offers 2 self-catering cottages:

Kingfisher Close - a one-room rondavel with sleeping accommodation for 2 people, a kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. A small portable braai (barbeque) can be provided.

Eagle’s Eyrie - a one-bedroomed cottage with a separate bedroom, an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a living room with an open plan kitchen. Eagle’s Eyrie can accommodate up to 5 people, as a single bed and 2 person sleeper couch can be provided. It also has an outside built-in facility for braaing (barbeque).

Combined, the cottage and Rondawel make for a perfect corporate accommodation venue away from the daily grind and stresses. The cottages are situated in a beautiful garden with a river running through it. Bird life is abundant, with a resident crested eagle presiding. Duiker are also frequent visitors to the peaceful garden.

Both cottages have fully equipped kitchenettes and linen and towels are supplied. DSTV is included. The units can be serviced daily at an additional fee.

Willow Bend is situated on the R103 between Mooi River and Rosetta, off the N1 (taking the Mooi River off ramp). It is in close proximity to all the attractions that make up the Midlands Meander in KwaZulu-Natal.
